Option 3: Arranged Services

What: You ask your local authority to choose and arrange the care and support that it thinks is right for you. Your local authority manages your budget. This option is also known as ‘Traditional Services’.

Who: While Option 3 offers the least amount of control and responsibility, it can make things simpler, particularly for people who feel overwhelmed by the range of services and options available to them.

Support: Your allocated social worker within your local authority will work with you to identify what’s available to make sure you (or your loved one) gets the right care and support.
