URGENT CARE NEEDED
Personal Assistant
Johnshaven
£13.45 per hour
14 hours per week, 1 hour morning and 1 hour evening visits.
There can be some flexibility with times.
A Personal Assistant is required for an older gentleman who lives at home with his wife. The gentleman is described by his wife as an “old school scouser” with a “dry sense of humour” who enjoys football, Liverpool and 60’s type of music.
The gentleman is at high risk of falls due to his poor mobility. Assistance is required with hoist transfers from his bed to hoist and then onto Sani chair, from the bedroom into the bathroom.
The gentleman requires support with showering, washing, drying and dressing etc.and then transferring back to his wheelchair The gentleman also requires a carer to support with his breakfast and prompts to take his medication.
Evening support with transfer from wheelchair to Sani chair if toileting required. Then assist with any personal care, getting him changed and prepared for bed etc.
