Personal Assistant/Carer
Tarland
£14.41 per hour
Permanent and relief hours available
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate carer to join the support team. The role offers a combination of permanent weekly shifts and additional relief cover opportunities.
Relief cover is currently required during a period of long-term sickness absence. As the timescale for the staff member's return is currently unknown, there is the potential for these hours to become a permanent part of the role in the future. Additional relief hours may also be available to cover annual leave and other staff absences, including weekends.
Applicants do not need to be available for all advertised hours, and applications are welcome from individuals who can commit to only some of the shifts.
Shift times are flexible and can be discussed with the employer at interview.
Current hours available:
- Monday to Friday: 8.30pm to 9.30pm (sick leave cover)
- Thursday: 9.00am to 10.00am (sick leave cover)
- Monday to Friday: 5.00pm to 6.00pm (permanent shifts)
The role involves supporting an elderly gentleman to remain living independently in his own home. Duties include assisting with mealtimes, medication, and all aspects of personal care.
The successful applicant will promote the gentleman's independence, dignity, choice, and wellbeing at all times while providing high-quality person-centred support.

PVG scheme membership will be required.
