Support Assistant
Alford
£13.86 per hour
(Mileage allowance also available for trips out – must be a car driver)
Hours Available
Up to 15 x hours per week
Wednesday 3:30pm-6:30pm
Thursday and Friday 2:30pm-5:30pm
10 x sleepovers annually (15 hours + sleepover rate per night)
(Flexible scheduling, you may choose the days that suit you)
To provide one to one support for an active autistic teen who enjoys regular trips out and about in and around Aberdeenshire (in the car). Also provide support during his regular volunteering work in his local community and activities such as 3D printing, his weekly Gym sessions amongst other activities. Help and support with making him feel included in his community by providing support with such things as social communication and social interaction whilst promoting his independence, dignity, and choice.
(May suit someone interested in physical activities and neurodivergence)
(Autism Specific Training (to the teen) will be available from the Employer)
Membership of the PVG Scheme will be required.
