3 hrs per week
Monday, Wednesday or Friday
Ideally between 9:30am-12:30pm

We are looking to employ a fun, energetic, compassionate, and reliable individual to support our 5-year-old autistic son.
He is a very active, happy, and affectionate little boy who loves the outdoors, trampoline parks, soft play, and other engaging activities. As he has no awareness of danger and is a flight risk, he requires constant supervision. At times he can present challenging behaviours, so we are seeking someone patient, confident, and able to provide consistent, attentive support. He’s non-verbal and he will need help with toileting.
The role will vary and may include one-to-one outings with our son, as well as assisting Mum when taking both our son and daughter out. We are looking for someone who can confidently manage situations, maintain control when needed (even in Mum’s presence), and step in to support our daughter if Mum needs to focus on our son.
To begin we will need to allow time to build trust and develop a positive relationship with our son.
Full Licence and access to a vehicle is essential
Membership of the PVG Scheme will be required.
