Support Worker
Peterhead
£13.86 per hour
4 hours per week term
Working on a 2:1 basis
Saturday hours are either 9.30 – 1pm or 2 – 6pm
Some flexibility in times
Up to 8 hours, during school holidays
Looking to employ someone who is kind, compassionate and reliable to support our 6 year old Autistic son – this would be on a 2:1 basis. Must be motivated and encouraging as this will allow him to maintain & enjoy an active routine. Looking for someone to support him to attend the activities he enjoys. He loves being outdoors, swimming, trampoline parks, beach etc. Looking for carers to supervise him at all times. He can be challenging at times and has no sense of danger, but is a very loving boy once he gets to know you.
There will be an opportunity to shadow until a trusting relationship has been built. We are looking for carers to support him to safely reach her potential and provide reassurance and guidance where necessary.
Car driver and access to a vehicle although not essential would be helpful.
