22 hours per 4 weeks
5.5 hours per week (Sunday 12:15pm-5:45pm)
Looking for two members of staff
One to cover 5.5 hours on Sundays, the other for relief/holiday cover
I am looking for a support worker to provide companionship and facilitate learning experiences for my 16-year-old autistic son.
He sees everyone as equal, so becoming his trusted ally will be key to supporting and guiding him. He is bright, knowledgeable & chatty but finds demands difficult so is allowed lots of autonomy, choosing how to spend his time at home and in the community where he is happy pursuing his interests.
You would be required to take him to his social clubs and help him engage with others while he explores his passions. The role involves providing encouragement to socialize and ensuring his safety at all times.
Driver with car & business class insurance to drive client to activities.
Mileage will be paid at 45p per mile.
PVG will be required.
