Pay Rate £12.66 per hour
Flexible/variable hours per week dependent on availability of employee and employer need
Who Am I?
I am an 8 year old girl who is kind, fun, affectionate and loves animals and being with people. I have had a really tough time with complex health problems that have made it hard for me to be at school for almost 2 years and I haven’t been able to do many of the things that I love and used to do. I am often tired, or have pain or feel unwell, and so it is hard to plan things or know how I will feel each day.
My Mummy and Daddy are working hard with doctors to find answers to help me feel a lot better. I have lots of playdates at our house with my friends when they aren’t at school. But I really miss company of other people and love to meet new people who like doing fun things with me at home, especially while my Mummy and Daddy are busy with other things.
I enjoy…
- Doing crafts, drawing, painting and arty things
- Doing acrobatics and playing on my climbing frame, setting up assault courses in the garden
- Spending time with animals and playing with my dog and my hamster
- Playing creative games
- Playing games on my laptop or switch like Minecraft – usually with friends or my dad
- Learning new things and trying new skills – e.g. art lessons at home or learning to make wooden planters
- Lessons with my home tutor on the days she comes to see me
Who are we looking for?
I would love to have someone kind who likes to play and have fun who would come and spend time with me. Ideally, I’d like to meet someone who:
- Is fun loving, flexible and kind
- Understands when I don’t feel so well and just need some TLC and extra support
- Enjoys chatting and sharing their interests with me – whatever they might be
- Enjoys crafts and being creative
- Likes animals
- Who can drive and maybe take me out to places if I feel well enough (preferred but not essential)
Why might you want to take on this job? Who may it suit?
