PERSONAL ASSISTANT/CARER
Oldmeldrum
£12.49 per hour
6 to 10 hours per week flexible
I’m a happy, lively 13 year old young man with severe autism, who requires an energetic, caring, fun-loving & experienced personal assistant. Experience of toileting and personal care would be beneficial. I require support for 6-10 hours per week, mainly after school 3-4 days a week , but occasionally weekends (flexible).
A clean driving licence and access to a car is preferable, but not essential,
I especially love swimming, trampolining, parks and action songs. I am a serious flight risk and do need constant supervision, although I have my wheelchair to keep me safe when out and about.
I can sometimes become frustrated due to my limited communication skills and therefore need someone with understanding and patience to help me stay calm when feeling overwhelmed and/or displaying challenging behaviour. However, most of the time I am happy and laugh a lot. I will make you laugh too. To know me is to love me!
