Job description

Support Worker/Befriender

Laurencekirk

£12.66 per hour

6 - 7 hrs per week – Evenings. With extra hours every second week. Days/times can be discussed at interview.

I am a 25year old man with no sight, which is a bit of a hurdle for me when it comes to getting out and about in the community.

I am looking for a chatty, helpful person/s to support me in doing this.

I am keen to go to weekly spin classes, swimming, and social events in the local area. These activities would be in the evenings as I am going into second year at Abertay Uni studying Criminology in January. I enjoy a very wide range of music and I have an interest in current affairs. I also co-chair meetings for NIN, giving a voice to help ensure that anyone, with any disability, is given the best quality of life. I love to talk, and to listen to others and I am very interested in the world around me.

If you think you would be suited to spending some time with me then please get in touch and we can meet for a chat.

Sighted guide training will be given, and I ask that any applicant can drive please.

PVG may be required.
