MCKE0321FR - Personal Assistant

Full or part time posts available across early, late and overnight shifts

Job description

£10.91 per hour, plus £55.99 for overnights

Full or part time post available across early, late and overnight shifts

I would benefit from the support of a Personal Assistant who has an understanding of autism, learning disability and epilepsy. Could you offer support to me whilst in my own home and in the community? I am a very active individual who enjoys a vast array of activities as well as a few community-based work placement visits.

Joining our friendly team will allow you to make a difference, improve my quality of life, learn new skills and work within the Health & Social Care sector under a Self-Directed Support Employer. The post will involve day to day living tasks such as Personal Care, Household chores, Leisure activities, Social inclusion, Communication systems as well as the maintenance of my health & wellbeing. Experience in supporting people with autism and some knowledge in Positive Behaviour Support would be helpful but full training will be provided.

You will be given the opportunity to shadow my Team Leader for four weeks.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our small, friendly service recently accredited by the National Autistic Society
